Homemade Bath Bombs

Our salon recently rid of the jetted tubs and opted for the stainless steel pedicure bowls. We have a newly remodeled room with inviting relaxation and the sound of a waterfall. The great thing about switching over to the non-jetted tubs is that we have virtually completely eliminated spreading any type of infection or disease. And how much fun can you have without the jets specializing your tubs for each client. I found a great recipe for homemade bath bombs.

Mix together the dry ingredients of 3 cups baking soda and 2 cups citric acid. Set aside. Mix 2 tablespoons safflower oil, 1/8 teaspoon scented oil and 8 drops food coloring. Add to dry mixture. Press mixture into mold, gently turn over and release from mold. Lightly spray with witch hazel to help set. And walla! What a great way to add that special touch for your client.
