Peppermint Pedi with a Touch of Lavender

I love finding different ideas for specialty pedi's on the web. Here's a refreshing peppermint recipe with an added touch of soothing lavender.

Peppermint foot scrub with Lavender

1 1/2 cups sea salt
1/4 cup sweet almond oil
2 drops peppermint essential oil
3 drops lavender essential oil

Combine the sea salt and almond oil and stir well to mix. If the mixture seems dry and does not hold well together in your hands, add almond oil by the tablespoon until you can scoop it comfortably. Add the essential oils last and stir well.

Rub Peppermint Lavender Foot Glow Scrub vigorously all over your feet and ankles. Pay special attention to your heels and the soles of your feet so they are thoroughly exfoliated. Rinse well with warm water and follow with a rich lotion or cream. Sleep in socks so the moisturizer is absorbed well into your skin.

Peppermint Foot Soak with Lavender

This foot soak soothes aches, remove odors, and soften rough skin. Hey go ahead and add some rose or lavender petals to the bath.

1/2 cup epsom salts
5 drops peppermint extract
3 drops tea tree oil
3 drops lavender

Add oils and salt to a large pan or footbath of water and soak for 10 to 15 minutes, rinse feet, dry and moisturize.
